Three Bids, Three Different Projects
Say you bring us an image off the internet with a raised garden bed in it. How tall is that bed? What is it built out of, block and stucco, timber, stacked stone? How long is it? What goes in it, and at what size? Nobody knows, including the company that bids it Tuesday afternoon.
So they build the number around what they pictured. If they want to be the cheapest, that is easy. Make the bed smaller. Use the cheaper block. Drop the lighting, thin the plant count, leave the irrigation sleeve out. Their bid comes in lowest and it looks like they beat us on price. They did not. They bid a smaller project.
Then the job gets built, and it is not what you had in your head. Everything you thought was included becomes an add-on while the crew is already standing in your yard.
We would rather settle all of it up front, on paper, where changing your mind is free. Once the design exists, every company bidding it is finally bidding the same yard, and the lowest number actually means something.

We walk the property with you and measure it. Sun, drainage, sightlines, and how you actually use the space. Nothing gets estimated off an aerial photo.
Photorealistic 3D Render
Your house, your lot, your elevation. Every palm, paver, light and bed line placed where it would really be built, at the size it really goes in the ground.
2D Prints and Plant Schedule
The measured drawing behind the render: bed dimensions, square footages, plant counts and sizes, materials by name. This is the part any contractor can bid.
Material and Plant Selections
Florida-tested plants and hardscape picked for your home, your light, and your HOA's approved list. Chosen with you, not assumed.
A Phasing Plan If You Want One

The Fee Comes Right Back to You
Build the design with us and the entire design fee comes off your first invoice. It works like a deposit, not a cost. The design pays for itself on our end too, because a crew working from measured prints wastes less time and fewer materials than a crew working off a conversation.
Decide to go another direction? The design is yours. Take the prints to any contractor in town and let them bid it line for line. You are out a few hundred dollars and you saved yourself from spending tens of thousands on a yard that was never what you pictured.

Straight Answers
Why won't you just give me a number off my photos?
Because it would not be a real number. A photo has no dimensions, no material selections and no plant sizes, so whatever I tell you is a guess about a project I am picturing in my head. The next company guesses differently, and now you are comparing bids that were never for the same job. The design is what turns a guess into a price.
Is the design fee refundable?
It is credited, which is better. The fee comes off your first invoice in full when you build the design with us. If you decide not to build with us, the design is still yours to keep and to shop.
What makes a design cost more than $400?
$400 covers a standard residential property. Acreage and estate lots, front and back done together, and plans with a pool area or a full outdoor living space take more design time, so they price above it. You get that number before any drawing starts, so nothing about the fee is ever a surprise.
Can I take the design to other contractors?
Yes. You paid for it, you own it. Hand the prints to two other landscapers and you will finally get bids on identical scope, same dimensions, same plant counts, same materials. That is the only way a price comparison means anything.
What if I can't afford the whole design?
Then we phase it. Most people design the yard they actually want and build it in stages. A $10,000 budget this year can still be part of a $30,000 finished yard instead of a patchwork of one-off jobs that never quite fit together.
Does every job need a design?
No, and we will tell you when it does not. A single scope gets a free quote no matter the size: lawn service, sod, mulch, a hedge line, palms, cleanups, curbing. The design is for full yard renovations where several scopes come together and the details actually have to agree with each other.
How long does it take?
The walkthrough is about an hour. Your first render comes back in a few days, then we revise it until you approve it. Nothing gets installed off a design you have not signed off on.
