Ornamental Grasses We Deliver and Plant
Muhly grass, fakahatchee, fountain grass and their neighbors bring movement and texture to SW Florida beds with very little water once established. These are the ornamental grasses we deliver and plant, several of them Florida natives that handle sandy soil, salt air and the dry season.

Common questions
When does muhly grass bloom in Florida?+
Muhly grass sends up its pink plumes in fall, usually September through November in SW Florida. Plant it in drifts in full sun for the strongest show.
Do ornamental grasses need to be cut back?+
Most look best with one cleanup cut a year in late winter, before new growth starts. We cut back the old growth rather than shearing them flat through the season.
